WalletHub Releases 2026 List of Best Cities for Jobs
WalletHub, an award-winning personal finance company, has released their 2026 list of the “Best Cities for Jobs,” analyzing more than 180 U.S. cities using 31 key factors that shape the strength of local job markets — from job openings per applicant and employment growth to the average starting salary each month.
Coming in at the top spot is Scottsdale, Arizona. Arizona cities Chandler (#14), Gilbert (#28), and Tempe (#30) also made the list. Rounding out the top ten included Columbia (SC), Portland (ME), South Burlington (VT), Pittsburgh (PA), Orlando (FL), Plano (TX), Washington (DC), Austin (TX), and Huntsville (AL).
