Adobe and Semrush Holdings, Inc. announced a definitive agreement for Adobe to acquire Semrush—an industry-leading brand visibility platform—in an all-cash deal valued at $12.00 per share, or approximately $1.9 billion in total equity value. Semrush offers a powerful suite of data-driven generative engine optimization (GEO) and search engine optimization (SEO) solutions that help marketers enhance brand visibility and expand audience reach.

The Center for Digital Government (CDG) announced the winners of the 2025 Digital Cities Survey Awards. This annual survey and awards program honors cities that are elevating government innovation to new heights. We're excited to several of our clients receive this well-deserved recognition. Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is a worldwide celebration of innovators who dream big and turn ideas into reality through startups. Each year, GEW engages millions of people of all ages and backgrounds through a variety of local, national, and global events and activities. This year, GEW is celebrated November 17-23, 2025. We look forward to celebrating GEW across all our US and UK offices as we support entrepreneurs, innovators, and the future generation of startups.

The Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) and the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance (LVGEA) are partnering to launch the Nevada Economic Developers Association (NEDA), a statewide professional association dedicated to strengthening and supporting economic development professionals across Nevada. We are currently providing LVGEA with various marketing communications services and we look forward to subsequently supporting the launch of NEDA.

Guy Fawkes Night, also known as Bonfire Night, is an annual celebration held on November 5th, mainly in Great Britain, featuring bonfires and fireworks displays. Its origins date back to November 5, 1605, when Guy Fawkes, a member of the Gunpowder Plot, was captured while guarding explosives placed beneath the House of Lords by conspirators aiming to assassinate Protestant King James I and his parliament. Several months later, the Observance of 5th November Act officially established an annual day of thanksgiving to commemorate the thwarted plot. Our UK Office will be celebrating this evening with some toffee apples and sparklers.

The Aspen Institute has recognized the College of Lake County (CLC) as one of 200 institutions eligible to compete for the $1 million Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence, the country’s top recognition for outstanding achievement and performance among two-year colleges. Congratulations to CLC!

Arizona’s FAST program provides funds, resources, training, and network opportunities to help entrepreneurs succeed in their Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) proposal. The program gives startups more competitive bids for federally-funded innovation and research and development programs. FAST Program applications are open through Monday, November 24. Each round will award six applicants up to $3,000 each.

Nevada Day is a recognized legal holiday in the State of Nevada. It celebrates Nevada's admission to the Union on October 31, 1864. In celebration of this year's Nevada Day, we are thrilled to welcome the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance (LVGEA) to the PDDG Family. LVGEA supports businesses looking to expand or relocate to the Las Vegas region with a variety of services depending on the business needs. We look forward to supporting LVGEA's economic development marketing needs.

In acknowledgement of our President and CEO's Greek heritage, we celebrate National Oxi Day. Oxi Day is a national holiday celebrated on October 28 each year in Greece, Cyprus, and by Greek communities worldwide. It commemorates the day in 1940 when Greek Prime Minister Ioannis Metaxas rejected Benito Mussolini’s demand to allow Italian troops to enter Greece. Metaxas famously replied to the Italian ultimatum in French—the diplomatic language of the time—saying, “Alors, c’est la guerre!” which means “Then it is war!”

The UK stands as a global creative powerhouse, renowned for its world-class talent, innovation, and leadership. The Creative Industries remain a vital engine of growth, contributing £124 billion in gross value added to the UK economy in 2023 and supporting 2.4 million jobs across the country. The PDDG UK Office, opened in July 2021, has expanded our agency's reach in Creative Industries both in the UK and abroad. We are grateful to be a small part of the UK's growing creative presence worldwide.
