Federal Leaders Tour Workforce Programs
In June, the Monterey Bay region welcomed Joshua Wetzel, West Coast Regional Representative for the U.S. Department of Labor, for a firsthand look at the innovative workforce development efforts taking place across Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties. Organized by Monterey Bay DART, the day-long tour showcased the collaborative partnerships helping prepare residents for careers in advanced air mobility, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, and agricultural technology.
As key workforce partners in the region, our clients Monterey County Works and Workforce Santa Cruz County continue to support initiatives that connect job seekers with training, education, and career opportunities aligned with the needs of emerging industries.
