Happy Summer Bank Holiday 2025
Monday, August 25 marks the August Bank Holiday or Summer Bank Holiday in the United Kingdom. The holiday, created as part of the Bank Holidays Act 1871, was originally held on the first Monday of August, but was later changed to the last Monday in August in the 1960s for England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. It remains the first Monday for Scotland.
PDDG has proudly called England and the UK home of our first international office since 2021. Our UK Office will be closed today in celebration of the holiday.
