Lake County Seeking New Board Coordinator
The Lake County Workforce Development Department is seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable individual to join their team as the Workforce Development Board Coordinator.
This position coordinates the Workforce Development Board’s activities related to Board engagement, workforce system collaboration, compliance, strategic initiatives, communications, stakeholder relationships, and organizational projects. Working closely with the Executive Director, Workforce Development Board members, department staff, workforce system partners, employers, and community stakeholders, the Board Coordinator supports implementation of Board priorities, strengthens Board member engagement, coordinates the department’s internal and external communications, and promotes collaboration across the workforce development system. The position contributes to the department’s success by coordinating projects, supporting communications, fostering relationships, maintaining organizational systems, and advancing a culture of professionalism, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
