In October 2025, we mark the 80th anniversary of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), honoring the valuable contributions of people with disabilities to the American workforce. PDDG has proudly supported the inclusion and elevation of individuals with disabilities in the workforce via our long-standing work with workforce development organizations across the country.

Here is a fun story out of our UK Office: Ladybirds (known as "ladybugs" in North America) have been spotted swarming UK homes and businesses this past week. The recent cold end to September and unseasonably warm early October temperatures likely contributed to the increased sightings. We spotted several large groups of ladybirds around our London office this week. Ladybirds are completely harmless to humans and homes and they are very important to gardens as they keep numerous plant sucking bugs at bay.

The Port of Port Angeles has welcomed the SSV Robert C. Seamans, the most sophisticated sailing research vessel ever built in the US, in for service. Since 2022, we have served as the Port's website development agency. In 2023, we launched a revamped and fully redesigned website experience for the Port, including a comprehensive overhaul of the site structure, content, and user-focused features.

National Scaffolding Week, held October 6-10 this year, is a UK national celebration managed by The Scaffolding Association that provides an opportunity to highlight some of the achievements of the organisations and individuals operating within the scaffolding sector and showcase best practice and innovation. In celebration of National Scaffolding Week, we are excited to announce Levld Heights, a London/Essex-based scaffolding company is joining the PDDG Team!

Over the past seven years, in partnership with the Institute of International Education (IIE), the PDDG Team has served as the marketing agency of record for the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program, as well as supported marketing communications and outreach efforts of EducationUSA, Boren Awards, Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program, and the Whitaker International Program.

The Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance (LVGEA), as the designated Regional Development Authority for Southern Nevada, is the premiere Las Vegas location specialist. Our friends at LVGEA are currently recruiting for two important positions: Senior Vice President of Business Development and Director of Research.

Pacific Fusion has chosen Albuquerque, New Mexico, as the location for its first research and manufacturing campus. The company plans to invest $1 billion in the new facility at Mesa del Sol, creating over 200 high-wage jobs along with hundreds of construction jobs. Congratulations to our friends at the Albuquerque Regional Economic Alliance (AREA) for this incredible investment in the Albuquerque region.

World Tourism Day, created in 1980 by UN Tourism, celebrates the power of tourism to drive positive change. In celebration of World Tourism Day, we are thrilled to share our agency has expanded its international tourism reach with new assignments in Greece, Spain, England, and the Middle East. Additionally, our President & CEO has completed his personal goal of exploring the people and culture of 50 countries by 2025!

Peninsula Clean Energy (PCE) and Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE) received an honorable mention at the Electric Innovation Awards during Climate Week NYC for their collaborative efforts in helping member agencies adopt 32 reach codes. Between 2020 and 2024, our agency partnered with PCE on a wide array of website and creative design assignments, and we congratulate them on this well-deserved recognition.
